1916 ....Two of his brothers were killed 1916, within a month of each other, on the Somme I would have thought he must also have served in this war: below is what is almost certainly his medal card, but no absolute proof.
In 1916 his parents,Arthur & Louisa Suckling, were living at 2, Moss Villas, Elmhurst Rd., Langley, Bucks.
1931. Edward A Suckling probably marries Dorothy S Tweed Jun 1931 Braintree.
1931. This Edward A Suckling & Dorothy have just one child, Rita D. Suckling Dec 1931 Braintree
His nephew, John Suckling, told his daughter Lauren that Edward went to Scotland and was a Church Minister.
1950. He was the informant on the 12/12/1950 d.c. of his father, Albert Suckling. His address then was St.Ranans', Panpret Road (Spelling> unsure) Elgin, Morayshire. In 2007 Lauren sought help on Genweb Scotland and was told the address was St. Ronans Pansport Road ELGIN IV30 1HE. "There does not seem to have been a Church St Ranans or St Ronans in> Elgin..The road in question seems to have been Pansport Road, and St Ronans' could have been a house address.". Lauren also states her father "never met his Uncle Edward so is unable to help". Does this rule out Edward A Suckling marrying 1931 Braintree?
1963. I think Lauren must have once told me he, Edward Suckling, died in Scotland ~1963 [ but says 1953 on Gen Web!] , but no proof
