Census 1841

Our Lyons family do not appear to have arrived in England when the census was conducted in 1841. Results from “The Genealogist” and “Ancestry” on their web data bases tend to sometimes give different results – the human frailty in indexing and deciphering the handwriting on the originals.

My conclusion is that our branch of the Lyons family had not arrived in England in 1841. The bits of the census that I have perused for Timothy Lyons and Stephen Lyons and they include for London & Surrey:-
