His youngest sibling Albert born Albert Gillard Dec 1880 died Albert Parchment Sep 1881, aged 0.
1881. August, the family are still living at 20 Moss Street when William Parchment dies and his father George Parchment is the informant.
1883. His father, George Parchment, died, aged 31, Dec 1883 Bethnal Green 1c 176.
1888. George William & his younger brother Thomas Jesse are baptised at St. Mary’s Rotherhithe in the name of Parchment

1885. Meanwhile Louisa Parchment, widow, 30, father William Gillard, has re married John Haines on 29/9/1885 in Bow. Neither of them could write.
and is pregnant with Eliza Haines, born Dec 1888, when she baptises her first 2 sons. Eliza Haines is also baptised in St. Mary’s Rotherhithe in 1889.

1899 .George William Parchment married Jane Stevens 25/12/1899 , ChristChurch, Rotherhithe, Southwark. He a Deal-porter.
They had 5 girls 1900-1909, [Jessie 1900, Florence 1902, Jenny 1906, Lucy 1907 & Dorothy 1909] then Violet 1913 &, finally, George W in 1921, who died in 1923!

1911C, G W Parchment 34, dock labourer, J E Parchment 33, wife, married 11 yrs, 5 children, 5 alive: Jessie 10, Flo 8, Jennie 6, Lucy 3/5, Dorothy 2, all born Rotherhithe, living in 4 rooms, 12 Neston Street Rotherhithe.
George Parchment served in WW1. An acting sergeant in the Royal Marines Labour Corps. Volunteered in March 1915 , was in the RASC, served on the Western Front before being transferred to the RML Infantry and engaged in the Docks until the end of hostilities. Appears in the National Roll of the Great War 1914-1918 - Findmypast. Think one had to pay to be included in this!? Was living at 29 Clarence St. [ same street as he had lived in 1891] Rotherhithe SE16 and received the 1914-15 Star & the General Service & Victory Medals
1960 George W.Parchment 1876 died in 1960, aged 84, Lewisham.
Have not followed to see if any of his 6 daughters married. No one researching him with Ancestry or Genes trees - Sep 2011
